Brief Introduction

Founed in Dec. 8th, 2007, Cheungkei Research Center for Luxury Goods & Services (CRCLGS), UIBE is an academic research institution under the leadership of University of International Business and Economics.

As the first research center specializing in the luxury industry in China, CRCLGS is aiming at:

1.Studying theoretical and practical experiences of the luxury industry from an academic view

2.Comparing and contrasting both common grounds and differences between Chinese luxury consumers and their counterparts in traditional market

3.Giving advices to western luxury operators who want to tap into Chinese luxury markets and domestic corporations who plan to climb the luxury ladder

4.Cultivating administrative intellectuals to have advanced and updated management expertise on luxury goods and services with an world wide open vision

5.Offering political advices to Chinese governments on improving taxation system, readjusting industrial structure, and cultivating domestic high-end product operators.

6.Setting up a communication bridge between domestic and foreign organizations, creating more opportunities for research cooperation and becoming a talent pool and training center on luxury studying field.
